Health and Safety is perhaps the most important part of any business and is a safe system of working to protect employees and visitors to site.

Our business has grown exponentially over the last six months, and this has involved the acquisition of several new sites. Now, was the perfect time to appoint a dedicated member of the team to take care of all elements of our Health and Safety and we are therefore delighted to announce the appointment of Andrew Brownett who joins us as our HSSE and Compliance Technician.

Andrew, 54, from Worksop has a proven track record of Health and Safety having worked for some well-known manufacturing businesses across the region and has a number of qualifications including NEBOSH, First aid, and mental health first aid. He is currently working towards a higher-level NEBOSH Diploma.

“Joining Carlton Forest Logistics is a great opportunity and the perfect time to join the business as it continues on its growth trajectory to acquire more sites and position itself as one of the leading 3PL providers in the UK,” said Andrew. “There is a really solid base for me to work on, but I am very much looking forward to developing procedures and establishing systems to allow us to fully explore accreditations and ensure we continue to deliver our high standards of health and safety across all elements of the business.”
